Ranu Shrivastava is a registered attorney and holds a Masters Degree in (Chemistry). She has completed Post Graduate Diploma in Patent Law from NALSAR, University of Hyderabad.

Prior to joining Solomon &Roy she worked as an Associate Attorney with a reputed Law firm in Mumbai, where she was primarily involved in Opposition of Trademarks, filing of Counter Statements, Assignment and transmission of trademarks, Renewal of Registration and Restoration. She has also handled Domain Name Dispute matters.

In Solomon & Roy she is involved in prior art searches, drafting patents, filing and prosecution of patents, especially Chemical and Pharmaceuticals.

Ranu has also been involved in drafting complex software license agreements, enforcement of IP including drafting notices etc.

She is representing the firm and handling the patent portfolio of Indian Institute of Technology(IIT), Mumbai. She is also representing the Firm in relation to Government Institutions and Organisations.
